This is a 12 hour forecast from March 13th 1993 for March 14th at 6pm
Questions for Part II
- What is the lowest pressure?
- Analyze where the warm front is and place it on the map.
- Analyze the cold front, and again place it on the map.
- Is there an occluded front? IF there is, then again, place it on the map.
- Find the 5400 meter 1000-500 mb thickness line ("the 540 line"). Trace
over this line with an orange pencil. Be careful and precise as possible.
- What type of precipitation will most likely occur in New York City at
this time, if this forecast veriefies?
- What are the wind direction in Chicago? Place a wind barb to show the
winds in Chicago (the speed is 20 knots).
- With this situation, no precipitation was occuring in central or
