Focus in Field: Undecided
I was always the kid that was deathly afraid of thunderstorms- lightning, thunder, and especially tornadoes! However, whenever someone asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I knew the answer was meteorology. I had always had a profound interest in the weather, wanting to understand why something was happening. After graduating high school, I took a detour in life and decided to get a degree in special education. After four years of schooling, and with severe and unusual under my belt, I knew that special education was not for me. As interested as I was about helping children with special needs, I knew I was more passionate about the weather. This is my first year back to College of DuPage and I am so excited to be in school and to be around the other "weather geeks," something I have found not many people can say about their schooling. Outside of school, I love reading, listening to music, and being a social butterfly.
