A couple updates to bring to everyone's attention: First and foremost, we have a meeting coming up before break next week. Gene Burns, a
survivor and witness to the 1930's Dust Bowl will be joining us to talk about his experiences. The meeting will be at COD in M147 at 4PM on the 24th, we hope to
see many of you there. Secondly, our calendars are coming together nicely, we are very excited about them this year! Our hope is to have them printed and ready
by the next meeting. The calendars will cost $15 and you can take my word, you will be getting your money's worth. Other announcements: The preliminary storm
chase meeting for 2010 is coming up at the start of next month. The meeting will be held in M147 on Dec. 4th at 7PM. This is not an AMS meeting, but anyone
interested in chasing next year is strongly recommended to attend this meeting.
UPDATE: We have another bake sale coming up on the 23rd and 24th. We will have a table outside the
cafeteria from 9:30-2pm. The sign up sheet is in the lab (M149), however if you would like to help out
at the table or bring baked goods, please let us know ahead of time via email. |
